Welcome to another exciting school year at Paul Kinder Middle School!

Our theme for the 2026–2027 school year is Grizzly Great Every Day. This year, we are focused on helping every student grow, achieve, and discover what they are capable of. Being Grizzly Great means giving our best every day—academically, socially, and personally—and taking pride in ourselves, our school, and our community.

At PKMS, student achievement and growth are at the heart of our work. Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to providing high-quality instruction, meaningful learning experiences, and the support students need to make academic progress. We want every student to recognize their strengths, set goals, embrace challenges, and take ownership of their learning.

We also know that students thrive when they feel a strong sense of belonging and connection. We are committed to creating a school environment where every student feels safe, respected, supported, and challenged to grow. Our expectations to Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible provide the foundation for our school community. This year, we will work to move students beyond simply following expectations toward developing a genuine commitment to making positive choices and contributing to PKMS with pride.

We believe students are most successful when schools and families work together. We look forward to partnering with you throughout the year to support your student’s academic achievement, celebrate their growth, and help them become the very best version of themselves.

It is going to be another great year to be a Grizzly! I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the dedicated team at PKMS and to share in your student’s educational journey. Together, we will make this a year of growth, achievement, connection, and Grizzly Pride—Every Day!

Go Grizzlies!
