Intramural Basketball starts February 3rd for sixth grade and February 12th for 7th and 8th grade. Get a permission slip from Mr. York or Mr. Morrow. 

Calling all soccer players. Intramural soccer will meet every week on Tuesday and Friday, starting at 7:30 in the small gym. Bring a soccer ball, a water bottle, and you must wear tennis shoes in order to participate. If you have any questions, see Mr. Christianson or Ms. Reuter. 

Congratulations to both Boys basketball teams on finishing up the season strong in their tournaments!! The boys' basketball team experienced one of the more successful seasons in PKMS history this year. Both teams finished with multiple victories in their respective tournaments, with B team bringing home a 2nd place trophy and the A team finished out the season as a top 5 team in the Greater Kansas City area!!  Coach York and Coach Higgins are super proud of this group of talented young men and can’t wait to see the great things they will do in the future.

Girls B Team are the Champions! The Grizzlies defeated Moreland Ridge last night to bring home the 1st place trophy. What a way to end a great season. All the girls improved throughout the season and Coach Lacy is very proud of their hard work.  A team girls took home 3rd place, defeating Heritage 38-27. It was a great season and coach Adamczyk is very proud of the way the girls hustled and played with toughness all season. 

Diversity Club is sponsoring a Door Decorating Contest in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. And Black History Month, which starts on Saturday, February 1st. The theme of the contest is, “I have a dream.” Winning advisories in each grade level will earn free gym time! Good luck, Grizzlies!
