Principal’s Message

Welcome to another exciting school year at Paul Kinder Middle School!

Our theme for the 2025-2026 year is PeaK Possibilities. We are excited to support your student in exploring all the possibilities at PKMS to help them achieve their goals. Our dedicated team of teachers and staff is passionate about creating an environment that supports the unique needs, interests, and goals of each student.
 
We are committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe in fostering a positive and inclusive school environment where everyone feels safe, respected, and encouraged to reach their full potential. We look forward to partnering with our families this year to ensure each student’s success.
 
Last year at PKMS, we established our PeaK Competencies - the aptitudes and mindsets we want to support and grow in our students. This year we will continue to focus on these five competencies: Curiosity, Empathy, Critical Thinking, Perseverance, and Communication. We will teach these alongside our content curriculum as we work to foster these real-world skills in our students. It is our goal that every PKMS student leaves our school with the necessary skills and confidence to be successful in high school and beyond. 
 
It is going to be another great year to be a Grizzly! I feel fortunate to be a part of the dedicated team at PKMS and to be a part of your student’s educational journey. I am excited for this year and the PeaK Possibilities that it holds for all students!
